Approving Policies

Approving Policies

Client policies must be approved by the agent on Certificial.  When a new policy is first entered into the system it will appear on your Pending Approvals page as "Unverified".  It will appear on your client’s page as "In Review".

You will receive an email alerting you to the that fact that a policy has arrived and is awaiting your approval, and an alert will be displayed at the top of your home page.

Click on the policy to expand the window to see the coverage types, endorsements, and limits.  Verify that all the information is correct.  If correct, select the "More Options" icon (three vertical dots next to "Unverified").  Select "Approve" and the policy will now appear in the system as "Verified".  Your client will be alerted that the policy has been approved.
